Meet Domenica Escatel

Domenica Escatel, is a first generation Latina with a Masters Degree in leadership. Domenica recently left a 10 year career in education working with the early childhood educators in the Quality Counts program for the state of California. Coaching teachers to raise the bar in providing quality education in the classroom. She woke up one day and declared a r(E)volution against conformity. This is when she founded Chicana Inc, a community that empowers, educates and equips latina's focusing in underserved communities. Since then, Chiana inc. has built one of the biggest latina following in the Central Valley.

In 2017, Domenica got elected to the Empire Municipal Advisory council for her city. Domenica became the first Latina, Council representative. She also attended elementary and middle school in the same community. Now retired, as an elected official, Domenica served over 4k people in her community.

In 2020, Domenica was selected as. TEDx Speaker at San Jose State University. Through the pandemic is got rescheduled to 2022. During this time Domenica was invited to be a guest speaker at Harvard University, to speak at the oldest latina Conference held at the university on Breaking Culture Barriers.

Currently, Domenica is the Host, Producer of Cafecito and Conversation that streams on Roku through the Happiness is Attractive Network. Interviewing entrepreneurs from all over the globe. From the popularity of the show, Domenica launched her Podcast The She Powered Podcast that focuses on the latina voice.
